Arbequina was opened in 2016 by Ben, Rufus & Ben. The aim was to create tapas style sharing dishes, with explosive and well-married flavours from Spain and beyond. The focus has, and will always be, on quality, unique and well-sourced ingredients.
It’s distinctive long, zinc bar quickly became a favourite of locals looking to eat great food in an exciting, buzzy atmosphere.
Arbequina continued to evolve and in 2021 incorporated next door at number 72. This now adds stunning, hand-crafted cocktails, natural wines & more to compliment your time with us.
You can find us at 72-74 Cowley Road, nestled under the beautiful Victorian ‘RA Neville Dispensing Chemist’ sign that we uncovered and restored back in 2016.
